Popular influencer Angry Ginge made a bold request in a plea to his fans ahead of his appearance on the new season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!

With Christmas Day just six weeks away, the annual festive tradition of sitting down and watching a group of celebrities packed into an Australian jungle covered in bugs is just around the corner.

On Sunday night, the 25th season of popular reality television series I'm a Celeb will begin, with several sporting stars involved including sports broadcaster and former Lioness Alex Scott.

Alongside Scott, popular YouTube and Twitch creator Angry Ginge, who played in Soccer Aid this year and manages a team in the Baller League, is set to take part in this year's series.

And before he flew off to the jungle, the 23-year-old released a video on his YouTube channel asking a massive favour of his fans ahead of the first episode being released.

As part of the ITV reality series, viewers will vote every night to select one of the celebrities to take part in one of the infamous 'Bushtucker Trials' in which they take on brutal challenges to win meals for them and their campmates.

The challenges can be anything from being buried alive covered in snakes to eating an animal's genitals, and Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has begged his fans not to vote for him to do them.

In the last YouTube video uploaded before he headed off to the jungle, the influencer said to fans: “If you are seeing this I have officially been announced.

“Just literally finished my last stream then before I went obviously couldn’t do like a proper proper goodbye because otherwise gives it away.

“Without you, I wouldn’t even be able to go in the jungle. So first of all, thank you very much. Yeah, basically just wanted to come on and say thank you.

“It should be good, should be interesting. Please don’t vote for me to do too many trials is what I will say. If I do get voted for them I will do me very best.”

Ginge arrived in Brisbane airport on Monday and will likely begin filming in the coming days ahead of the first episode, and quickly admitted that he had already broken one of the show's strict rules.

Shortly after he landed in Brisbane, the avid Manchester United fan admitted that he had already spoken with several of his fellow contestants, including close friend and fellow Mancunian Aitch.

When does I'm a Celeb 2025 start?

I'm a Celebrity 2025 starts on Sunday, November 16 on ITV.

The show, hosted by Ant & Dec, typically lasts for three weeks.
