Angry Ginge is among the favourites to win I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, as the stars head for the Australian jungle.

The latest season of the popular ITV reality TV show is set to get underway on Sunday, November 16, with Ant and Dec returning to host.

This year's series will feature 12 celebrities and run for three weeks, taking the show into the start of December.

Social media star Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, joins the line-up, following his involvement with Soccer Aid earlier this year.

The streamer, who is known for his content around Manchester United, also manages a team in the Baller League, which launched last year.

Football pundit and former England international Alex Scott is also heading into the jungle.

Other well-known contestants include Kelly Brook, Aitch, and Martin Kemp.

However, it is Angry Ginge who is the early bookies' favourite to win the celebrity contest, currently priced at 3/1.

Contestants' Reported Pay

On average, contestants are paid between £150,000 and £300,000 for their three-week stint in the jungle.

However, lesser-known stars are typically paid between £50,000 and £100,000, while the biggest names can earn more than £1million.

According to The Independent, Coleen Rooney, wife of football legend Wayne Rooney, was rumoured to have earned more than £1.5 million for her appearance last year.

Politician Nigel Farage received a similar figure, while Noel Edmonds was paid a huge £600,000 for just one week back in 2019.

But the contestants need to stick around if they want to take home the full amount.

Some outlets report that celebrities must stay in the jungle for at least three days to receive the full rate, with those who leave early taking a reduced payment.

How to win I'm a Celeb?

Over the course of the three-week series, celebrities are voted off the show by the public, leaving just three contestants at the end.

The public vote typically opens after two weeks, with one celebrity eliminated every evening until the finale.

The final three then take on a final Bushtucker Trial, before being crowned either the King or Queen of the Jungle.

Last year, McFly singer Danny Jones won the show, with Coleen Rooney finishing runner-up and the Reverend Richard Coles in third.
