The ten highest wage bills in world football have been revealed and Barcelona lead the way by an astonishing amount.

Barca are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have made a number of big money signings in the last three years.

Neymar's world record transfer fee to Paris Saint-Germain gave the club plenty of money to play with when finding a replacement - which has sent their wage bill sky high.

SafeBettingSites have revealed the Catalan giants pay up to £9.37 million per player on average.

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner won the Spanish Golden Boot this season and is hoping to lead his side to Champions League glory in Lisbon.

Some of the other clubs are paying huge sums to players who can't even get a look in however.

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil hasn't played a game since football's restart and a highlight of his season has been sitting with an umbrella in the stands.

Gareth Bale is also collecting an obscene amount of money for a player that is clearly unwanted at Real Madrid.

Despite showing absolutely no care for the club in recent weeks, from pretending to fall asleep on the bench to not playing in the Champions League, the Welshman doesn't seem in a rush to move on.

The Sun say his plan is to see out the remaining two years on his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, which will reportedly see him earn a massive £60 million due to his handsome pay packet and bonus payments.

Bale is doing this to get back at his employers for blocking his proposed move to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.
