Erling Haaland has been handed a court date next week for an ongoing legal battle over an alleged marketing breach.
Following news that Manchester City have been found guilty of the majority of the 115 Premier League charges, the last thing star player Haaland wants to deal with right now is another legal battle.
But, it's now been revealed that he'll be doing just that in a matter of days after a hearing date has been set for his lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA.

Following the World Cup, Haaland and his legal representatives filed a lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, a Scandinavian airline.

The case related to the airline's use of Haaland's 'characteristics' while marketing flights for fans looking to attend the World Cup, where Haaland and Norway were performing far better than many had expected.
Norway reached the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup, their best-ever performance, ultimately losing to England, with Haaland scoring seven times throughout the tournament, tying with Jude Bellingham for third in the golden boot race.
In an email provided to Norwegian outlet VG, lawyer Thomas Hagen of the law firm Schjodt explained the legal dispute.
“We can confirm that we, on behalf of York Promotions Ltd. and Erling Braut Haaland, have filed a summons against Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA,” Hagen wrote.
“The case concerns Norwegian's unlawful exploitation of Haaland's characteristics in its marketing of airline tickets during the World Cup.”
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA also confirmed to the outlet that it has received the legal complaint.
"It is true that we have received a lawsuit that we do not understand," Norwegian press officer Eivind Hammer Myhre told VG.
"We, like almost all of Norway, have been involved in cheering on the national team this summer through a few spontaneous posts based on trends in social media.
"It is a shame that the cheers have been met with lawsuits, but we hope for a reasonable dialogue so that we can also be allowed to cheer on our common sports heroes in the future."
Although it is not known exactly what marketing the dispute relates to, Norwegian have since removed post on social media showing Haaland's former ponytail hairstyle on one of their aircraft.
The hearing is set to take place on October 9 as a video call running from 10am to 11am.
This initial hearing is likely to involve a judge and legal representatives from both sides to prepare for a later trial.

Erling Haaland's reaction to Man City 115 charges verdict revealed
While Man City prepare to launch their appeal of the 115 verdict, Haaland is currently busy representing Norway on international duty.
The 26-year-old striker scored twice in a win over Denmark and once against Portugal so far, and faces Wales in their next match on Thursday.
When asked to offer an insight into how Haaland is currently feeling given the City news, Norway teammate Kristoffer Ajer claimed the striker is "fully focused" halfway through this four-game Nations League window.
"He's been exactly the way he's always the same with the national team," Ajer said.
"He's truly focused on the upcoming games. I think he's trying to do the same as everyone else, wait and see what the outcome is - but right now the main focus is Wales tomorrow night. That's clearly been his way of doing it."
Asked if he had seen a difference in Haaland since the news broke, the Brentford defender added: "No not at all. Ever since I met him brings lot of energy and joy to the group.
"The biggest compliment I always give is that he hasn't changed a bit from the moment I met him even though he's the biggest star on the planet right now.
"He's been exactly the same the last few days as well which is not a surprise for me."
Haaland will return to City after Norway's final fixture of the break on Sunday against Portugal, with a tough away trip to Anfield to face Liverpool up next for Enzo Maresca's side.
