Atletico Madrid's Marcos Llorente supposedly owns a bed that is quoted as being able to slow down ageing. The bed that is worth over £30,000 helps athletes recover.

Marcos Llorente has been quite the engine since he joined Atletico Madrid from City rivals Real Madrid in the summer of 2019.

He famously scoring the winning goal to knock-out Liverpool out of the UEFA Champions League in this year's round-of 16.

And Llorente has said he has some tips to keep his incredible stamina and fitness at the highest level.

The Spanish midfielder is a firm believer in the paleo diet,

The paleo diet is designed to resemble what human hunter-gatherer ancestors ate thousands of years ago.

However, his most bizarre tip is his current bed, a bed worth over £30,000 and supposedly reduces the speed of ageing.

The creators of the bed, Hogo, say about the bed:

"Hogo is the only scientifically guaranteed and patented rest system in the world that naturally reduces biological age by slowing down the oxidation and inflammation process by which we age."

The bed has been backed up by a few professors as well, more specifically, Mónica de la Fuente, professor of the Department of Genetics, Physiology and Microbiology of the Faculty of Biology of the Complutense University of Madrid.

Mónica de la Fuente said:

"The results show that the rest achieved thanks to the Hogo system results in a significant rejuvenation of biological age and an improvement in overall health. This can improve life expectancy and improve health. "

So if you have a spare £30,000 handy, you could sleep like Llorente and maybe knock Liverpool out as well next season in the Champions League.
