One of Europe's most in-demand players has got people talking after he posted a picture of himself wearing a Manchester United shirt, just days after they entered the race to sign him.
It has been a stop-start summer for United thus far. After completing a deal to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a reported £62.5 million, the Reds were expected to move quickly in the transfer window.
Earlier this month, United submitted a bid of £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons for Bryan Mbuemo, but the offer fell short of Brentford's valuation.

An improved second bid worth up to £62.5 million was then rejected by the Bees, who have since been informed by Mbuemo of his decision to sign for Ruben Amorim's side if he makes a transfer this summer.
As well as Mbuemo, United have been linked with several attacking players of late, including Lyon winger Malick Fofana.
A recent report from French publication L'Equipe suggests United have expressed an interest in bringing the highly-rated Belgium international to Old Trafford.
Fofana, who scored 11 goals in all competitions for Lyon last term, will likely be one of the first players to leave Lyon following their relegation to France's second tier.

And on Sunday, the 20-year-old sparked rumours after he posted a picture of himself wearing a Manchester United shirt with 'Rashford 10' on the back. In fact, he sported the full United kit amid ongoing speculation.
Here's how fans on social media reacted to Fofana's decision to wear the jersey.
One wrote: "Full United kit is insane, come here bro," while another commented: "Sign this kid up man."
A third said: "Nah bro do you realise how big a United fan you have to be to willingly wear that MONSTROSITY of a third kit?? BRING HIM TO THE THEATRE."

A fourth wrote: "Tears got the shorts on too," and a fifth added: "Bring and loan back. (Helps lyon out)"

Chelsea and Liverpool are also being linked with a move for Fofana as the recently-relegated Lyon face the prospect of losing some of their best players.

Former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette may have to be sold at a cut price to balance the books, while Coretin Tolisso, Moussa Niakhaté, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Lucas Perri and Duje Caleta-Car could also leave this summer.
Said Benrahma, Anthony Lopes and Maxence Caqueret were all sold in January after Lyon were provisionally demoted to Ligue 2 in November.
