Bayern Munich may have already selected their perfect replacement for Harry Kane amid reports he has informed the club of his desire to leave.
After a highly dramatic and exciting 11 weeks, the summer transfer window finally closed a 7pm on Monday night.
Across the summer, several of the biggest names in football made big moves to join new clubs, with Alexander Isak's move to Liverpool and Viktor Gyokeres transfer to Arsenal just two of the most notable deals.
One player that nobody expected to be linked with a transfer was Kane, however a report late in the window claimed that he would like to leave the Bayern Munich in the summer of 2026.

And now, it appears that Bayern have listened to their star striker's wishes as they may have already signed their ideal replacement for the England captain.

After winning the Bundesliga last season, Bayern Munich decided to spend big on just a couple of signings this summer while securing transfers away from the club for several of their players.
The likes of Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and club legend Thomas Muller left over the summer, with former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz and Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson coming in.

And as details of Jackson's move begin to emerge, it appears that Bayern may be considering him as their long-term striker after finally agreeing a deal with Chelsea for his transfer.
Reports on Sunday revealed that the Senegal international had initially agreed a loan move with an option to make the deal permanent.
However, after the deal suddenly collapsed, Chelsea and Bayern renegotiated a new deal that will see the German club pay an increased loan fee of £14.25m with an obligation to buy the player for £56.25m depending on appearances made.
This means that, should Jackson make the necessary appearances, he will become the second most expensive signing of all time at £70.5m, with only Kane costing more after joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m.

Harry Kane names the ONE club that he wants to join next summer
Bayern Munich's financial commitment to the signing of Jackson would appear to add weight to reports that Kane plans to leave the club next summer, with the England star likely to be highly in demand.
But, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, there is only one club that Kane has his sights set on, as they claim he has informed Barcelona of his intention to leave Bayern in the summer of 2026.

It is reported that Barca view the former Spurs star as a perfect replacement Robert Lewandowski, who is out of contract in 2026.
If true, this would rule out any potential return to the Premier League, despite links with several of the top clubs, and likely end Kane's chances of dethroning Alan Shearer as the Premier League's top goalscorer.
