He is one of the most decorated players in world football. At the age of 26, serial winner Kingsley Coman has won a league title in every season of his professional career to date.

In fact, the France international has lifted 10 league titles in 10 seasons since starting his senior career with Paris Saint-Germain, aged 16, and was successful again last season as Bayern were crowned Bundesliga champions for the 10th consecutive year.

From scoring the winner in a Champions League final against former club PSG to winning league titles in Italy, Germany and France – Coman continues to achieve great success in club football.

So who did you look up growing up? The Bayern forward once namedropped Ronaldinho and Franck Ribery as his idols and nobody raised an eyebrow, but what about Jay-Jay Okocha and Kevin Nolan?

In an interview with ESPN, Coman has opened up about the English club he 'supported' growing up – and it may surprise a few.

The former Juventus winger was asked: "If you had to support a team in the UK, who would it be?"

After taking a few seconds to process the question, Coman replied, "Bolton" before having a good laugh about the answer. "I liked this team when I was young," he added.

Coman's age suggests he probably grew up watching the likes of Kevin Davies, Ricardo Gardner and Jussi Jaaskelainen in a Sam Allardyce side that finished 6th during the 2004/05 campaign.

Coman's revelation about his love for Bolton sparked plenty of comments on social media.

One fan commented: "Kevin Nolan and Kevin Davis inspiring a generation," while another wrote: This is up there with John Carew supporting Scarborough."

A third said: "Running around a Parisian suburb pretending to be Henrik Pedersen," and a fourth wrote: "Tal Ben Haim poster on his bedroom wall."

Very much enjoying the idea of Kingsley Coman possibly having a Kevin Davies poster as a kid https://t.co/fVMwczdhSV
