McLaren have made their decision after looking into the incident involving Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris during the Singapore Grand Prix.
Earlier in the month, the title race between Piastri and Norris reached boiling point around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
During the opening lap, Norris made contact with Piastri as he attempted to move up the order after starting from fifth place.
However, Piastri was left fuming as he felt Norris overtook him unfairly.

The Australian blasted on his team radio: "Mate, that's not fair. Sorry, that's not fair. If he has to avoid another car by crashing into his team-mate, that's a pretty s**t job of avoiding."
In the end, Norris finished ahead of Piastri, meaning the latter's lead at the top of the championship standings has been cut to 22 points with six races left of the 2025 season.
After the Singapore Grand Prix, McLaren team boss Andrea Stella stated that the team would launch a formal review into the incident.
This week, ahead of the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, Norris revealed the outcome of the internal investigation without giving too much away.

He said on Thursday: "Things were reviewed and there will be repercussions for me until the end of the season.
"If you're clever you'll see what it is."
Norris continued: "The team held me accountable for what happened, which I think is fair.
"And, yeah, then we made progress from there with me understanding what the repercussions were for myself."

Meanwhile, Piastri said: "I think the talks from Singapore were very productive with everyone involved. I think the conclusion was what happens in Singapore is not how we want to go racing as a team, and ultimately Lando has taken responsibility for that.

"That's in the past now, and the rules won't change because of that. Ultimately, we've got that framework in place for a reason and there's no reason for that to change now. It's been dealt with, and now looking forward to the future."
