Oscar Piastri is considering whether to leave McLaren for a Formula 1 rival, according to a new report.
Piastri is currently leading the 2025 Drivers' Championship, and is 22 points ahead of team-mate Lando Norris with six races remaining.
The Australian finished in fourth, one position behind Norris, at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The pair made contact at turn two on the first lap at the Marina Bay Street Circuit after Norris took evasive action to avoid hitting Max Verstappen's Red Bull.

Piastri made his fury with Norris' move clear over team radio, but was not able to challenge his team-mate for position during the remainder of the Grand Prix.
According to Swiss outlet Blick, the championship leader has begun 'setting his sights' on potentially moving away from McLaren.
He is under contract at the team for 2026 - and, indeed, until the end of 2028 after signing an extension earlier this year - but the possibility of a vacant seat emerging at Ferrari for 2027 could present an opportunity for Piastri to switch teams.

It was reported by Italian outlet RMCMotori last week that the manager of current Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc had held preliminary talks with other teams ahead of 2027.
And Lewis Hamilton is under contract with the Scuderia for 2026, with an option for the seven-time champion to extend his stay with the team into 2027.
Hamilton will be 42 when that season gets underway, however, and it remains to be seen whether he will trigger that option.
That could therefore open the door for Piastri - who does already have some loose connections with the Ferrari team.

He won the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships while driving for Italian team Prema Racing, which often serves as a proving ground for Ferrari junior drivers across different formulae. The Australian has never himself been associated with the Scuderia.
Piastri was instead part of the Alpine junior academy, but left the team in acrimonious circumstances after they announced he would drive for the team in 2023 despite the Australian not having signed a contract.
He subsequently switched to McLaren and is now in his third season in F1.
