Lando Norris dropped an F-bomb during his post-race interview with Sky Sports.

Sky Sports were forced to apologise after Lando Norris swore during his post-race interview following his first-ever British Grand Prix win.

Norris won Sunday's British Grand Prix for the very first time in his Formula 1 career.

His teammate Oscar Piastri was in control of the race but his misjudgement at the safety car cost him victory as he finished second at Silverstone, anger Max Verstappen in the process.

Nico Hulkenberg secured his first-ever podium. He gets his podium finish on his 239th time of trying.

Race winner Norris, Piastri and Hulkenberg all spoke to Jenson Button for Sky Sports following the conclusion of the British Grand Prix.

Hulkenberg spoke at his delight of claiming his first podium finish, while Piastri bemoaned his 10-second time penalty.

As for Norris, he dropped an F-bomb when reflecting on his achievement.

"It’s beautiful. Everything I dreamed of, everything I wanted to achieve. Apart from the championship, this is as good as it gets. Incredible race, stressful as always," he said.

"Your mind just goes pretty blank, everything you might think before the race you forget. The main thing is just don’t f**k it up. The last few laps I was just looking into the crowd. It might not happen again. Incredible achievement."

Button subsequently apologised for Norris' bad language - as did he.

The McLaren driver added: "Oscar put up a good fight. I enjoy these moments out on track. It’s a long 52 laps and you never know what it’s going to be like, and thanks to all the fans. It was really a beautiful thing."

Norris also cut an emotional figure as he crossed the finish line.

"Wooh, wooh," he said on the team radio. "We did it! At home! Oh my God, we did it. It’s beautiful. This is a dream, winning at home. I’ll remember this more than anything."
