Luke Littler has explained why he never sees the morning as he reveals his training regime.

17-year-old Littler announced himself to the world after a dream run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship last month.

The teenage sensation beat the likes of Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld on the way to the final at the Alexandra Palace, which he lost to world number one Luke Humphries.

Since then, he has won his first senior title and was also named in the 2024 Premier League darts lineup.

Speaking in a recent interview, Littler explained his training routine.

He told Daily Mail: “Maybe 20 minutes or half an hour. Just to keep my arm loose.”

The teenager from Warrington also admitted he might have to start getting to bed at a normal time.

Littler said: “I wake up at 1pm or 2pm and I do the same every day.

“I might need to get in a routine of going to bed at a normal time - I never see the morning. I get up, I go on my Xbox, when I get bored of that, I go on the practice board, and when I get bored of that, I go back on my Xbox.”

As he continues to way to becoming one of the sport’s biggest stars, Littler spoke about the extra attention he has been getting.

He said: “The more I win, the more attention I get, so I just get on with it.

“It was the middle of nowhere, I couldn't even tell you where, and I got recognised outside Asda,' he says. 'Soon as I walked in someone wanted a photo. I had to go and sit in the car!”

Recently, Littler was beaten by Dutchman Michael van Gerwen on night two of the Premier League darts in Berlin, Germany.
