The PDC has been forced to release a statement after footage of Michael van Gerwen being punched in the face in a bar emerged online.
Night 13 of the Premier League darts is currently underway in Aberdeen as the biggest names in the sport face each other for a spot in the play-offs at the O2 Arena on May 28.
Both Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler have already guaranteed a spot in the play-offs, with the other six players competing for the final two spots remaining.
One of the biggest names hoping to secure a sport in the play-offs is three-time PDC World Champion Van Gerwen, who remains one of the favourites as he currently sits fourth in the Premier League standings.

However, just hours before the Dutchman opened his weekend in Aberdeen, shocking footage emerged on social media of him being punched in the face during an ugly fight in a bar.
The footage shows the 37-year-old out celebrating King's Day, which was on Monday, in the city of Den Bosch in the south of his home country, the Netherlands.
It appears to show Van Gerwen arguing with a man, who suddenly throws a punch at the darts legend which appeared to hit him in the face.
Looking to retaliate, the Dutch player tried to pursue the aggressor but was stopped as two security guards apprehended the man.
It is not known what caused the fight to break out, or if Van Gerwen was injured from the incident.
MODUS Sport release statement after Michael van Gerwen is attacked
