
Beau Greaves has cemented her place in darts history following her 8-7 victory over Michael Smith in the Players Championship 11 final.
Throughout her career Greaves has shown that she is a darts player with the potential to go on and be one of the very best currently playing the sport.
At just 22 years old, she is already a three-time women's world champion, having won three consecutive WDF World Darts Championship titles and has impressed during outings at the World Championship.
But on Monday evening, Greaves faced former PDC World Champion Smith in perhaps the most significant match of her career so far, the final of the Players Championship 11 in Milton Keynes.

On her way to the final, Greaves saw off two-time champion Gary Anderson and 2018 world champion Rob Cross, with a win over Smith securing her spot in history as the first woman to win a PDC ranking title.
And that is exactly what she did, as she came through a last-leg decider with a stunning 142 checkout to win the contest 8-7.
Immediately after the historic moment it became clear that the significance of her achievement was not lost on Greaves as she couldn't hold back the tears during her first interview as a title winner on the pro tour.
"I was up a fair few legs and I started to think about it and it caught up to me," she admitted.
"I honestly can't believe it. I've had a great year but I never thought I'd win one of these!"
"I'm so happy. I can't even describe the way I feel. It's unbelievable and I feel so proud of myself.
"I never thought that I'd come in here today and win this. I know I've got the ability to do so, and I know I've got the talent for it, but to play the players I'm playing... I beat Gary Anderson - I couldn't believe it!
"I don't know what's happening. I'm beating players that I've watched growing up, it's just amazing.
"Aside from winning Lakeside [three-time WDF women's world darts champion], this is my best ever achievement, and hopefully I can kick on now and do well on the television.
"I'm absolutely chuffed!"
With the massive win, Greaves has now jumped up to 79th in the world and 5th on this years Players Championship finals race.
