Darts fans in the Ally Pally couldn't believe their eyes in a strange moment during Luke Littler's latest match.
On Sunday evening, world no.1 Littler secured his spot in the third round of the ongoing PDC World Darts Championship in London's iconic Alexandra Palace.
Having beaten Lutihuania's Darius Labanauskas 3-0 in the opening round, the 19-year-old picked up another routine 3-0 win in his second match, beating Welshman David Davies.
Littler will now face Austrian player Mensur Suljovic in his third round match during the afternoon session on December 27.

But, despite the scoreline in his second round match, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Littler in his win over Davies, as there was one bizarre moment during the match that confused everyone watching.

In the opening set, both men held their throw to start the match, leaving the score as 1-1 heading into Littler's second throw where the reigning champion then faltered, allowing Davies to take a 2-1 lead.
Thankfully for Littler, he was able to produce an instant response in the fourth leg, hitting a spectacular 170 checkout to level the score at 2-2, sending the Ally Pally crowd wild.
Except, he didn't actually get a 170 checkout, as the camera angle of the three darts played a trick on fans watching, making them believe that Littler had amazingly won the leg.

From a viewers point of view, Littler perfectly hit two triple 20s before finding the bullseye, totalling 170 points, but instead his second dart narrowly missed the treble and scored just 20 points, leading to an actual total of 130.
Therefore, when the crowd all began cheering, both Littler and the Master of Ceremonies clearly confused as to what had the fans so excited.
Luckily for Littler, Davies then three opportunities to hit a double and win the leg, and therefore the opening set, allowing the 19-year-old to step up and hit a double exit with his second dart, tying the leg,
Littler was then able to win the final leg of the set, before winning both of the following sets 3-1 to pick up the victory in the match.
