Cameron Menzies has released a new statement ahead of Charlie Manby's second-round match at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship following his furious on-stage moment.
Last week, Menzies was knocked out of the PDC World Darts Championship after losing 3-2 against Manby at the Alexandra Palace in London.
After the winning dart was thrown, Menzies was seen punching the water table in anger, leaving him with blood all over his right hand.
During the aftermath of the incident, Menzies apologised as he released a lengthy statement.

Part of the statement read: "First of all, I would like to apologise for what happened. I am sorry that I reacted in the manner that I did. It’s not an excuse, but I have had a lot of things on my mind recently and I suppose it all just became too much at the end.
“It has not been an easy time for me with my uncle Gary passing away recently. I saw him four days before he died and he gave a look which told he much he thought of me. He treated me like a son. Had I won the game against Charlie, my second match would have been on the day of Gary’s funeral and that has not been lost on me in recent days. Let me say again, that’s no excuse for what I did on the stage. It was the wrong thing to do and I don’t want it to take anything away from Charlie."

Earlier in the week, Menzies' ex-girlfriend and fellow darts star Fallon Sherrock appeared to mock him after she was spotted jokingly shaking the water table during his defeat against Dave Chisnall.
On Monday evening, ahead of Manby's second-round tie against American Adam Sevada, Menzies issued a new statement about last week's incident.
He wrote on social media: "Hi all. Wishing Charlie Manby all the best tonight in his match against Adam Sevada.
"I have spoken to Charlie personally and apologised to him for my actions. He understood that I was caught up in my own moment of frustration and that it was nothing personal towards him, or his win. It was very important to speak to him about that, and I am grateful he never once thought I was directing anything at him."
Menzies added: "A huge thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages of support—it really means a lot. My hand is on the mend. Sorry again for last week! Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New Year."
