An update on Cameron Menzies has been delivered following his meltdown at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship.
Back in December, Menzies was in action at the Alexandra Palace against Charlie Manby.
After a thrilling encounter, it was Manby who managed to advance to the second round by winning 3-2.
After the winning dart was thrown, Menzies was seen punching the water table in anger, leaving him with blood all over his right hand.

During the aftermath of the incident, Menzies apologised as he released a lengthy statement.
The statement read: "First of all, I would like to apologise for what happened. I am sorry that I reacted in the manner that I did. It’s not an excuse, but I have had a lot of things on my mind recently and I suppose it all just became too much at the end.
"It has not been an easy time for me with my uncle Gary passing away recently. I saw him four days before he died and he gave a look which told he much he thought of me. He treated me like a son. Had I won the game against Charlie, my second match would have been on the day of Gary’s funeral and that has not been lost on me in recent days. Let me say again, that’s no excuse for what I did on the stage. It was the wrong thing to do and I don’t want it to take anything away from Charlie."

It was reported by The Sun that Menzies cut his hand so badly that he needed 'emergency surgery'.
Now, an update has been given on Menzies as he is set to return to action.
The 36-year-old represented Scotland in The Battle of Four Nations at Twickenham last Friday.
James Wade, Jonny Clayton and Brendan Dolan were the other contestants.
In addition, the PDC have confirmed that Menzies will be in the Preliminary Rounds of the 2026 Winmau World Masters.
The Preliminary Rounds will be held at Arena MK next week.
Top players such as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen are already through to the televised stage of the competition, which will take place from January 29 to February 1.
