A New Boxing Game Is Finally Coming And The Graphics Look Insane

Boxing fans and gamers have been missing one thing in their life, a recent boxing game. But they can finally rejoice as there's a new boxing game coming soon.

The Fight Night franchise is still popular amongst boxing fans and the possibility of a new edition is often talked about on social media.

However EA haven't released a new version of their game since Fight Night Champion came out in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and there's been a whole new generation of consoles since then, in fact the next one isn't too far off.

Finally PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, as well as PC gamers, will be able to play a new boxing game, with the trailer for 'eSports Boxing Club' being revealed by Steel City Interactive.

Joining the Sheffield based developer, it looks like former British boxers Ricky Hatton, Frank Bruno and Johnny Nelson, also well known for his punditry of the sport on Sky, are involved in the project.

As well as the in ring British boxing royalty involved, coach Dave Coldwell, who has trained the likes of David Haye, Tony Bellew, Jamie McDonnell and Dereck Chisora, is also involved in the game.

Fans have been calling for Fight Night for some time and the news in December that the Fight Night 4 servers were finally being closed down after 10 years built up rumours a new version of the game was just around the corner.

However in a live chat last week Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn hinted he may produce a game himself, saying, "EA Sports don't really seem interested in boxing and Fight Night. So, should I just do one myself?"

The list of people involved in the new game, and Sky's obvious influence, it may just be that Hearn has something to do with the new game as well.

Finally the venn diagram of boxing fans and gamers will have something to cheer, it's been far too long a time coming as well.
