Tommy Fury has revealed what he knows about a potential Tyson Fury comeback in an exclusive interview with SPORTbible.
Tommy, 26, first entered public consciousness when he appeared on the fifth series of reality TV show Love Island in 2019, during which he met his now-fiancée Molly-Mae Hague.
Fast forward six years, and the Manchester-born fighter has followed the family tradition of becoming a professional boxer.
Brother Tyson, 37, is a two-time world heavyweight champion, having held the unified WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles before later capturing the WBC and The Ring belts.

Father John, 60, also fought professionally and boasts a record of eight wins, one draw, and four losses from 13 fights between 1987 and 1995. While several other Furys have competed in the paid ranks.
But Tommy, who boasts wins over Jake Paul, KSI, and most recently Kenan Hanjalic, is much more than just a boxer.
Due to his relationship with Molly-Mae, a hugely popular YouTuber and social media personality, the couple are often under scrutiny from all angles.
And on Tuesday, fans will finally get to go behind the curtain into Tommy’s at times turbulent life.

During a docuseries titled ‘Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury’, which is set to air on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three from Tuesday, 19 August, cameras take a behind-the-scenes look at what Tommy described as a tough year in 2024.
The boxer admitted that following surgery to his hand, he had “problems with alcohol” during his absence from the sport he loves.
In the same year, he and Molly also went their separate ways before rekindling their relationship earlier in 2025.

Tommy now looks ahead positively and told SPORTbible that he still has hopes of one day becoming a world champion, as well as admitting that he didn’t learn much from taking part in so-called influencer fights against the likes of KSI and Paul.
“Listen, I’m a realistic man, you can’t just click your fingers and be a world champion,” Tommy explained. “I’m expecting to have 25 plus fights before I fight for a world title.
“I don’t just want to fight for a world title; I want to fight for one and win it. And that’s definitely something I believe I can do because I know what I can do in the gym, and I know the people that I have sparred and mixed with.
“If I can put what I do in the gym into fight night… well, I’d fancy myself in the next five years. But it’s not as easy as that, you’ve got to take your time and map it out carefully.”

Tommy saw a boxing match against former UFC fighter Darren Till cancelled in January after the Liverpudlian threatened to employ MMA tactics during the bout.
However, the 26-year-old has now explained how he, in fact, has taken part in “over 100 rounds of sparring” with UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and did not rule out switching codes in the coming years.
When asked about whether he’d like to take part in an MMA fight, Tommy replied: “I’ve sparred Tom Aspinall and did a lot of work with him, and obviously, he’s the number one heavyweight [in the UFC]. We’ve done well over 100 rounds of sparring; he’ll tell you that himself. If I do get into MMA… I’d go down to him.”

And of course, it would not be a Fury interview without asking about the future of Tyson.
The self-proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ retired shortly after sustaining his second consecutive defeat against Oleksandr Usyk last winter, but has since been linked with a return to the ring after Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh claimed “The 'Gypsy King' will be back” in an X post back in July.
So, what does Tommy know?
“Tyson’s always training, he’s always in shape, whether that’s for boxing or not for boxing,” Tommy explained.
“He trains every day because he has to mentally, and it’s like me, we have to train. When you’ve been brought up training every day of your life, and then you don’t do it for a bit, you don’t feel right. I don’t know what the next move he’s going to make [is], I don’t think anybody does.”
