Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is a 'done deal' for Netflix, with a report revealing a huge term for the monstrous clash.

Paul was due to meet Gervonta Davis on November 14 in an exhibition bout.

But it was cancelled after a civil lawsuit was filed against Davis.

Joshua has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Davis, with Mike Coppinger revealing on Wednesday that both parties are 'finalising a deal for a heavyweight fight on Netflix'.

According to Coppinger's original report, Paul vs. Joshua will air on Netflix and take place in Miami, Florida.

He has since followed up with further information, claiming Paul vs. Joshua is a 'done deal' for Friday, December 19.

What's more, the boxing journalist states it will be a 'heavyweight fight' not an exhibition.

On X. he wrote: "The heavyweight fight - not exhibition - is slated to take place Friday, Dec. 19, per sources."

Paul vs. Davis was billed as an exhibition until Most Valuable Promotions scrapped it.

Paul vs. Joshua, however, will be competed under a professional setting.

The size difference will be a major factor given Paul weighed in at 199.4lbs in his last fight, while Joshua scaled 252.5lbs in his last appearance.

The 28-year-old American, though, weighed 228.4lbs when he welcomed Mike Tyson back to the ring.

Speaking on Thursday, Eddie Hearn said he and Joshua aren't interested in exhibitions, suggesting it will be a 'real fight'.

"No, not an exhibition. We're not interested in exhibitions. It's a real fight," he told Sky Sports.

"There's stuff to be resolved and discussed. It would be a real fight with Queensberry rules, 10-ounce gloves. The rounds would be agreed. The weight, I mean, we may come down to a number that's more suited for Jake, if that is even a thing."

Paul's last appearance in the ring was a pro fight and not an exhibition.

He beat ex-world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last June, having outpointed boxing legend Tyson in what was also a pro bout.

'The Problem Child' has a pro record of 12-1.

As for the Brit, he hasn't fought since his crushing knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.

A blockbuster showdown against Tyson Fury has been mooted.

His fight against Paul will serve as a tune-up before heading into more challenging tests next year.
