Dana White has been removed as the promoter for the superfight between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford in a shock change.
After seeing off William Scull at the start of the month to add the IBF super middleweight title to his collection and unify the division.
Undefeated light middleweight champion Crawford stepped into the ring for a face-off after the bout was announced but there have been many adjustments made to the event.

UFC president White was set to be overseeing the spectacle, in line with TKO Group Holdings - the company which houses both the UFC and WWE - and the multi-year partnership with Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh Season.
The arrangement was for a boxing league in the style of the UFC model, as well as two huge blockbuster bouts each year.
Canelo vs Crawford was poised to kick off the new era in style but White appears to have been given the cold shoulder, with Sela for Riyadh Season the new promoter.

The date has now been moved a day from Friday 12 September to Saturday 13 September - a date which falls on the same night as UFC 320 in Guadalajara, Mexico to commemorate Mexican Independence Day.
"We have confirmed the promoter for Canelo v Crawford will be Sela for Riyadh Season," Alalshikh said on X.
"The broadcaster we have not decided yet, but the date will be Saturday, 13th September. More details soon."
The fight was initially slated to take place in Las Vegas at the 65,000 Allegiant Stadium but there was a scheduling conflict as a college football game between UNLV Rebels and Idaho State is on the same day.

As per the Ring Magazine, a broadcaster for the tear-up is yet to be decided. It was suggested that Netflix were poised to broadcast the fight around the world as they did with Jake Paul's win over Mike Tyson last year, with The Sun reporting that both competitors were set to film content with the streaming giant in New York.
It will now be on PPV, with DAZN a leading contender given they have an exclusive deal with Riyadh Season.
White has not yet commented on the situation for the fight and his apparent snub.
