An event for Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn has been cancelled following last night's egg slap incident.
Tuesday's pre-fight press conference descended into chaos when Eubank Jr. smashed an egg in Benn's face during the face-off.
Eubank Jr. and Benn will renew hostilities ahead of their April 26 showdown on Thursday for the second-leg of their media tour.
They will be involved in another press conference at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which is hosting the grudge match.
But a pre-fight media event has been cancelled in wake of the egg slap.
According to Sky Sports, a face-off between Eubank Jr. and Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been cancelled amid security concerns.
Plans were being discussed for Eubank Jr. and Benn to go head-to-head on Wednesday, but the pre-fight event has been axed following the egg slap incident in Manchester.
A second press conference is planned to go ahead on Thursday with additional security deployed to avoid another flashpoint between the British fighters.
The 35-year-old could find himself in trouble with the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) after striking his rival with an egg.
In a statement, the governing body said: "The British Boxing Board of Control is aware of the incident at yesterday's press conference in Manchester for the Chris Eubank Jr. v Conor Benn contest on 26th April 2025 and are dealing with the matter in accordance with its regulations."

"We're obviously disappointed he did such a silly thing. He struck Conor which was inappropriate, it was irresponsible," he said.
"We'll deal with that at a hearing when we call for a hearing. We'll get one in as soon as we can possibly get it on.
"I can't speculate [on punishment]. There's lots of things they can do, they can withdraw licenses, they can fine, they can suspend, they can put conditions on licences."
On tomorrow's pre-fight press conference, Smith added: "I've spoken to a few people regarding the press conference tomorrow, and I'm satisfied the press conference can go ahead."
