
WWE have two locations in mind if they need to move WrestleMania 43 due to the conflict between the United States and Iran.
The iconic event is the biggest in the WWE calendar and the 2026 spectacle is taking place in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.
Next year is set to feature the first ever WrestleMania outside North America after Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was announced as the WrestleMania 43 host city following on from its historic Royal Rumble event.
That announcement from WWE and TKO came in September 2025 but recent events in the Middle East have brought uncertainty as to whether the April 2027 show will go ahead as planned.

Formula One races in both Saudi and Bahrain have been cancelled and there are reportedly some concerns about WWE's next event in the region.

Post Wrestling reported that Night of Champions is in the "internal" schedule for June 2026 but the ongoing war which spawned from action against Iran from the US and Iran could potentially impact that.
Should the situation continue into 2027, WWE might have a decision to make on WrestleMania, the wrestling equivalent of the Super Bowl.
According to PW Insider, WWE chiefs have been discussing "contingency plans" regarding WrestleMania 43 and both Indianapolis and New Orleans are both leading contenders.
Indianapolis, which has staged the Wrestlepalooza and Royal Rumble Premium Live Events, has an agreement to host a WrestleMania in the future.
The multi-year partnership was confirmed 2024 and included a two-night Summerslam, WWE's big event in the summer, as well as WrestleMania.
No year or date has been announced but it could be that WWE brings Indianapolis' WrestleMania forward.
WrestleMania will return to the bright lights of Las Vegas for two nights on 18 and 19 April. But it was supposed to be New Orleans prior to Vegas once again getting the nod in a controversial move.
'The Big Easy' is therefore the other strong option as it was promised a WrestleMania in the coming years.
WWE is in the middle of a 10-year partnership with Saudi Vision 2030 and the country has hosted a plethora of events, including Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber and the Royal Rumble - which was the first instance of one of the company's 'Big Five shows'.
