The Rock has been slammed by John Cena's dad over his 'no show' in WWE's latest storyline.
Dwayne Johnson first became involved with WWE back in 1996, going on to become one of the greatest professional wrestlers ever.
He won multiple world champions and established him as one of the most recognisable figures in the sport.
But he has since stepped back from wrestling to focus on his Hollywood career.

He still performs on a part-time basis for WWE and made a dramatic appearance at Elimination Chamber 2025.
At the event, he confronted Cody Rhodes after Cena won the match.
Cena then struck Rhodes below the belt, leaving him on the floor and shocking fans around the world.
The Rock's appearance was key to Cena's heel turn, and gave him a key role in the storyline.

However, following that moment, The Rock has largely disappeared from the narrative.
His absence has attracted attention from some of the biggest names in wrestling, including Cena's father.
Cena Sr said: "I think what he’s done is right, it’s good, it’s positive… Turning John Cena heel was a great idea. The shock factor was great.

"The storyline [after the turn] was destroyed.
"That was a very poor move in my opinion because it was a big gamble for everyone involved.
"To see how it started, and then to see the characters who are involved no longer be present, the heel turn almost became non-essential.
"That was something I wasn’t really too hyped up on."

Cena, a 17-time world champion, has confirmed that he is set to retire from wrestling at the end of the year and is currently on his farewell tour.
He has featured in some of WWE's most marquee events this year, including the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, before defeating Rhodes to take the Undisputed WWE title.
Cena's final appearance has yet to be confirmed, but speculation suggests that 27 December could be his last match.

The Rock, meanwhile, is currently focusing on his acting career.
He played the lead in The Smashing Machine, a biopic about the former UFC fighter Mark Kerr, portraying a troubled athlete who became world champion.
The film has been well received by critics and is set for release at the start of October.
Johnson will then return to the big screen again, when he plays a 70-year-old man called 'Chicken Man' in Lizard Music.
For now, The Rock's absence continues to divide fans, who are unsure if he will return to the storyline.
