Speed shows off gruesome injury he suffered during WWE Royal Rumble in front of Logan Paul

Speed was a shock entrant in the 2025 men's Royal Rumble - but paid the price in brutal style.

YouTube and Twitch star iShowSpeed showed off the brutal injury he received after unexpectedly entering the WWE men's Royal Rumble match.

Speed was invited to stream the event backstage by WWE's chief content officer Triple H, though fans wouldn't see him on the live broadcast itself at first.

That was until the number eight entrant in the men's 30-man Royal Rumble match, Akira Tozawa, was brought backstage after being attacked during his entrance.

After doctors signalled to Triple H that Tozawa could not compete, 'The Game' called for Speed - real name Darren Watkins - and told him that he was entering the Rumble.

What followed was a surreal moment as Speed helped to throw Otis - whose billed weight is a staggering 330lbs - over the top rope before then performing Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Sui' celebration in front of a raucous crowd.

But the joy was short-lived, as Speed was subsequently taken out by one of the most brutal Spears ever delivered by current WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

Speed was then thrown out of the ring by Breakker, though thankfully avoided a hard landing as he was caught by Otis.

But Otis decided to then throw Speed over the announce desk, leaving the Twitch star in a heap on the ground.

After being helped out of the area, he was met backstage by fellow YouTube star Logan Paul, who ended up being the number 30 entrant.

Paul reached the final three in the match before being eliminated by the returning John Cena.

But before then, he examined Speed's injury - which looked gruesome.

Speed showed off a major gash on the side of his right leg, which caused him to walk with a noticeably severe limp.

Paul asked: "Woah, you alright, bro? Just walk it off - you'll be alright."

The pair then shook hands before Paul continued with his preparations.

It wasn't Speed's first appearance in the WWE, as he featured at WrestleMania 40 while dressed up in a Prime costume for Paul's United States Championship match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

Unfortunately, that night didn't end particularly well either, as Speed was RKO'd on to the announce table by Orton and left the arena in a neck brace. Hopefully it will be third time lucky...
