Logan Paul's plans to box NFL players appears to have hit a stumbling block after intervention from WWE.
In boxing, Paul has competed on a number of occasions, with notable fights against KSI, Floyd Mayweather and Dillon Danis - his most recent encounter.
'The Maverick' has recently found himself locked in a rivalry with NFL stars, stemming from a back and forth with seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady ahead of a flag football battle.
The former United States champion then proceeded to challenge NFL players to a boxing match, stating that “not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match" and offering a $1 million fee.

He said that former running back Le’Veon Bell was ready to accept the proposal before posting a screenshot of a message sent to him and former Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers player Breiden Fehoko, where the 30-year-old wrote, "What's best email to send contract."

Dion Dawkins and Antonio Brown also got involved but in a new development, Paul has been blocked from competing by WWE - where he now has a full-time contract after making a seamless transition.
On a recent stream, Paul was on the phone to a WWE executive who told him that he could was banned from boxing as the company didn't want him to get injured.
He replied, "I'm not gonna get injured these guys can't box" but the employee was adamant it is an "unnecessary risk" - mentioning that he could slip or fall.
Though WWE's Chris said he appreciated the hype but stressed that he "cannot box as you're full-time WWE".
A determined Paul, who claims to have spent $5,000 drafting the boxing contracts, still wasn't giving up and said: "These guys can’t box, they’re football players. There’s no risk.”
Chris then continued: "I'm glad you feel that way that's why you are where you are but we are trying to eliminate that risk and look out for you. Ahead of WrestleMania we do not need you in the boxing ring."
When Paul asked if there was a way to convince WWE to give the green light, he floated the idea of cutting them in on his $2 million winnings - to which the spokesperson replied, "We're good for money but we just prefer you not to be boxing."
In the end, Paul conceded that there is no way he would be able to take on the fight while contracted to the WWE and pledged his loyalty.
"At the end of the day I'm a WWE superstar and my loyalty is with the WWE," he admitted.
"If I do not have their blessing to do some extra curricular activities that are unrelated to the WWE like boxing - as much as I would love to do it - I've got to honour my job and my commitment to my profession."
He doubled down with a post on his official X account, where he said he was "too valuable" as he slammed both Bell and Fehoko as "bums" who are "broke".
Paul wrote: "Welp. The bosses called. Turns out I’m too valuable of a WWE Superstar to be fighting bums
"I want to take this opportunity to congratulate @LeVeonBell and @BreidenFehoko for their 15 minutes of relevancy. Now back to being broke and retired. I’m going back to RAW every Monday."
Paul's most recent contract saw him achieve full-time status with WWE - publicly announcing it in early January. His debut was in April 2022 and led to a series of appearances and matches.
