WWE star Paige calls out 'weirdo behaviour' by fans at airport in social media rant

WWE star Paige has took to social media to vent about "weirdo behaviour" from a fan who waited for her at the airport.

Paige made a shock return to WWE in April at WrestleMania in Las Vegas - competing inside the ring for the company for the first time since December 2017 when she teamed with Brie Bella to win the women's tag team championships.

She has been back full-time with WWE after signing a contract but the 34-year-old has expressed incredible frustration with a fan going to lengths that are beyond extreme to get autographs.

On X, the Brit revealed that she had someone waiting for her at her gate of her connecting flight with a large amount of pictures to sign.

Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, warned fans against such antics.

On X, she wrote: "Airport scalpers are morphing.. Had someone waiting for me as I was getting off the plane at the gate of my connecting flight with like 30 pictures.. I’m easy going with this stuff but pulling up to my gate is weirdo behavior. Don’t do that."

In the replies, one user asked if the fan in question bought a plane ticket - with Paige believing it to be the case.

She responded: "Yes exactly. It was my connecting so I wasn’t coming to baggage claim. He probably thought he could make that money back and more thinking I was gonna sign all those pics at my landing gate. He probably thought it was gonna be worth it. It wasn’t."

The post from Paige received huge support as many blasted the autograph hunters for invading privacy. The issue has been one that a whole host of WWE superstars have raised in recent times - with Rey Mysterio and Rhea Ripley particularly vocal.

WWE have a plethora of official autograph signings and meet-and-greets that fans can pay for, but yet many people still choose to bombard talent when they are travelling or at hotels.

For Paige, it is sadly not a new experience. In November 2025, she put out a message to reveal that a stalker followed and filmed her for 45 minutes at the airport.

The man did not approach her at any point and did not ask for a photo or autograph. Instead, he filmed without stopping for nearly an hour after getting past security by buying a ticket.

Recalling the uncomfortable experience on her Rulebreakers podcast, Paige said: “It’s not okay to follow me like wherever I go. Like, it’s not okay. There should be a line. Yes, you can be a fan, but you should make us feel safe in the process.

"There was a video recently that was on TikTok of someone following me from my gate… They bought a ticket to get past security to film me coming off the plane from a distance. And that makes me feel so uncomfortable too. So please don’t do that.”
