Snoop Dogg hit the People's Elbow on The Miz and secured a victory at WrestleMania

Snoop Dogg hit the People's Elbow on The Miz and secured a victory at WrestleMania

It was one of the most left-field WrestleMania moments of all time following some chaotic scenes.

In one of the most left-field WrestleMania moments of all-time Snoop Dogg secured a win over fellow co-host The Miz.

It was one of the most chaotic segments in the history of wrestling.

The rapper and the former WWE champion were in the ring before The Miz started berating the D-O-double-G for putting him in a match on night one of Mania.

Instead of apologising Snoop Dogg decided to make matters worse by bringing out yet another opponent for the A-Lister, despite his pleas to leave him alone.

And to the shock of SoFi Stadium and everyone at home Snoop brought out none other than the returning Shane McMahon.

It was a thunderous reaction for the returning superstar as a referee was soon called into the ring and the match got underway.

However, things soon turned ugly as it looked as though McMahon seriously hurt himself as he went down in what looked to be an unplanned moment.

He lay grimacing on the floor holding his knee, as The Miz, the referee, and the crowd were unsure what to do.

A doctor came in and checked on the 53-year-old as they rolled him out of the ring.

However, the show must go on and Snoop came to the rescue to help save the segment.

He jumped into the ring and hit The Miz with a right hand and took over McMahon’s spot in the match.

The 51-year-old then proceeded to mimic The Rock and produced a People’s Elbow or as the commentators put it ‘The Doggy Elbow’.

Brilliant.

Snoop then covered The Miz and secured the pin to earn himself a WrestleMania victory.

I don’t think anyone in the crowd, at home, or even Snoop himself had expected things to play out how they did.

One fan tweeted: “Snoop Dogg doing side missions in life.”

Another said: “Hit it better than The Rock himself that’s right Snoop.”

A third wrote: “Fair play to improvisational genius Snoop Dogg for saving the show.”

A fourth added: “Snoop Dogg is the king of wrestling.”

What an oddly fantastic WrestleMania moment.
