KnokX Pro, the California-based wrestling promotion that hosted the event in which Stuart Smith was knocked unconscious by Raja Jackson, has been accused of sending messages to its wrestlers following the incident.
Jackson is currently the subject of a police investigation after Stuart Smith, ring name Syko Stu, was hospitalised following a violent attack by the 25-year-old.
Smith was said to be "choking on his own blood and teeth" after being brutally beaten by Jackson, according to one of his fellow wrestlers, who opened up on the incident while appearing on The Scaling Up podcast alongside other colleagues.
During the 22-minute episode, which is available to watch on YouTube, it was alleged that talent at the promotion were told not to cooperate with law enforcement.

"The most disgusting thing is that people at this school are being encouraged to not cooperate with the police," it is claimed.

"From what I hear, the police were there investigating the scene shortly after Stu was removed, and there has been multiple requests that have gone downstream from upper management to not talk with the police directly if they are contacted, and to only let a certain group of individuals interact with the police."
He added: "That is extremely dishonest. You guys let your friend almost die, and now you're trying to have people lie for you."

As the podcast was taking place, a number of screenshots appeared on screen, allegedly of messages from someone involved at KnokX Pro.
One of the messages read: "Please refrain from engaging in comment sections on social media posts about this tragedy. It will be weaponized in potential criminal and civil cases. Fly low.
Another said: "If Law Enforcement or an attorney for the suspect contacts you in any capacity, let someone here know right away for guidance on how to address them. @everyone”

Raja's father, former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, posted a statement on August 24 claiming his son's attack was "a work that went wrong".
Taking to X, he wrote: "I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable."
"Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback” in the ring, I thought it was apart of the show," he continued.
"It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong. Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this.

"I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith."
He added: "That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation."
