WWE SummerSlam match order leaked as Brock Lesnar decision made

Brock Lesnar's WWE retirement might just have been confirmed as the SummerSlam night one main event and full match order was leaked.

In his home state of Minnesota, Lesnar takes on Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell at the U.S Bank Stadium at SummerSlam - one of WWE's biggest events.

Lesnar looked to have retired from WWE back in April when he removed his gloves and boots and left them in the ring after a shock defeat to Femi at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

But the Beast Incarnate made a shock return weeks after, going after Femi and levelling the score in their series at Clash in Italy.

The rivalry between the two behemoths will be settled inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam in Lesnar's 12th appearance at the pay-per-view.

SummerSlam, like WrestleMania, will be split over two nights and according to Mike Johnson of PW Insider, Lesnar and Femi's trilogy encounter will close the show on night one.

It means Lesnar will headline SummerSlam for the ninth time in his career but because of him going on last, plenty are speculating that it could be because he will retire for good afterwards.

One user on X wrote: "So this has to mean Brock’s 1000% retiring after tonight…"

A second said: "Just get the Brock retirement match over with and let Oba win the belt at WrestleMania."

A third added: "Yeah Brock retiring. He gonna lose and pass the torch to OBA and retire in his hometown."

The move represents an incredible achievement for rising star Oba Femi, who only debuted on the main roster earlier this year and is destined for big things.

What is the SummerSlam match order in full?

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes' undisputed WWE championship match appeared to be the primary candidate to main event night one but will instead go on second to last.

In terms of the opener, Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky will lock horns for the women's world championship.

The Bloodline, made up of The Usos and Jacob Fatu, take on LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys in the second match of the night, while the in-ring WWE debut of Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis in his bout against Gunther is slated to go on third.

The showdown between Fatal Influence and The Bella Twins and Paige is also on Saturday night's card, going on fourth.

Night two is set to be headlined by Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins renewing their storied rivalry for the WWE world heavyweight championship.

Other notable matches include Chad Gable challenging Penta for the Intercontinental championship, Trick Williams defending his United States championship against the returning Baron Corbin.

There is also a five-way ladder match for interim WWE women's championship, starring Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair and Lash Legend.

Finn Balor and Sami Zayn will also do battle in a No.1 contender match for the undisputed WWE championship.
