Fans watching Wimbledon on the BBC have been reacting on social media after seeing what the broadcaster did on the back of Jannik Sinner's victory.
On Sunday afternoon, the 2025 Wimbledon Championships came to a close with Sinner taking on defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the gentlemen's singles final.
In front of an expectant crowd inside Centre Court, the two best male players in the world put on another fantastic show.
After dropping the first set, Sinner moved up the gears as he clinched his maiden title at SW19 by winning 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.

The Italian managed to get his revenge on Alcaraz after he lost the French Open final last month despite having championship points. Sinner has also ended the Spaniard's two-year reign at Wimbledon.

However, fans watching the final on BBC were left fuming after the broadcaster ended their coverage at 8pm, forcing viewers to tune in elsewhere.
As a result, a lot of people were unable to see Sinner lift the trophy from the iconic balcony.

On Saturday, the BBC did manage to show ladies' singles champion Iga Swiatek lifting the Venus Rosewater Dish from the Wimbledon balcony after the Polish star beat Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in under an hour.
Reacting on social media, one fan said: "Cannot believe the BBC have cut off Wimbledon coverage early so will not show Jannik Sinner going on the balcony or meeting the Royal etc. what an absolute farce."
Another tweeted: "This has to be the worst tennis coverage from the BBC, how can you end the programme and not show Sinner showing the trophy from the balcony?"
A third fan added: "Not acceptable to end coverage of men’s champion without the full celebrations backstage and balcony."

Someone else wrote: "Why couldn’t we see Sinner going onto the balcony. Wouldn’t have hurt to stay on air a few minutes longer."
A fifth commented: "Shocking that you never showed Janis Sinner going up into the inner sanctum and meeting Royal & then onto the balcony. You show this every year without fail!"
The official Wimbledon social media account eventually posted a video of Sinner lifting the trophy from the balcony.
SPORTbible has contacted the BBC for comment.

Speaking after winning Wimbledon, Sinner paid tribute to Alcaraz, he said: "Hello everyone. First of all, I would like to start with Carlos, again, amazing tournament but mostly thank you for the player you are.
"It’s so difficult to play against you but we have, as you said, an amazing relationship off the court, and on the court we just try to build up and for doing that we need the best teams in the world and also you have the best team."
