Carlos Alcaraz will partner with Serena Williams for the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, with the entire tournament line-up now revealed.
The pair combine for 30 Grand Slam titles between them, 23 for Williams, and seven for Alcaraz.
Williams made a return at Grand Slam level to play Wimbledon earlier this summer, losing two-sets-to-one in her opening match against Maya Joint.
Alcaraz has been absent for much of the ATP season after winning the Australian Open earlier this year, where he completed the career Slam, prevailing three-sets-to-one against 24-time Slam winner Novak Djokovic.

Due to a wrist injury, the Spaniard was unable to defend his Roland Garros crown, which he secured last year against long-time rival Jannik Sinner in one of the greatest Grand Slam finals in history. He was also absent for Wimbledon 2026.
Alcaraz and Williams will attempt to battle their way through a stacked line-up in the competition, with another multi Slam-winning duo in Aryna Sabalenka and Djokovic set to provide them competition.
In light of the US Open's line-up confirmation, Alcaraz's reaction via X to the announcement of his dream team partnership with Williams shows that the Spaniard is not participating for anything but glory.

Williams and Alcaraz will also face the likes of American duo Taylor Fritz and Jessica Pegula, and young talents on the verge of a Slam victory in Alex Eala and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Responding to the news on X, the Spaniard quote-tweeted: "Let's gooooo!" and tagged Williams' account.
The 23-time Slam winner is yet to reply to her partner's enthusiasm.
Alcaraz made a shock announcement just days ago that he would be present in the States for the year's final Slam, amid rumours that his wrist injury would keep him out for longer.
Sinner prevailed against Alcaraz at Wimbledon in 2025, and retained his title this year. Both players currently possess one Slam each in 2026; however, the Italian will be absent from the US Open through injury, meaning Alcaraz can extend the Grand Slam count further over his strongest rival.

The Spaniard is the defending champion at the tournament, having beating Sinner in 2025's final. He will not only have the opportunity to defend his crown, but to partner with Williams for a US Open Mixed Doubles title.
The Doubles tournament will run from August 24 to 26, with the Singles competition getting underway at the very end of the month.
