Leinster secured the BKT United Rugby Championship trophy with an historic 36-7 win at Croke Park over the Bulls to retain their title.
It can be argued that the match was over at halftime as the Irish province were 22-0 to the good thanks to tries from Tommy O’Brien, Rieko Ioane, and Jack Conan.
In the second half they ensured there was no way back for the South African club as Sam Prendergast and Harry Byrne touched down across the try line.
Canan Moodie was the man that got the Bulls’ try in the second half, with Handre Pollard adding the conversion to make it 29-7 at the time of this score.

The Bulls will be disappointed with their performance, as they had two yellow cards in the first half to hinder their chances of winning their first URC title, as this is now their fourth defeat in the final across the last five years.

It was a historic victory in the competition, as it is the first time a team has won the URC in consecutive seasons since the introduction of the South African teams.
Leinster were the last, and only, team to achieve this feat through the previous iterations of the competition, as they collected their 10th title.
Leo Cullen will be pleased to have ended the season with a piece of silverware, as it may help to ease questions around his role as head coach along with his staff, as they were starting to be questioned after their comprehensive defeat in the Champions Cup final to Bordeaux Begles.
Fans will be pleased for several of their departing players to have lifted some silverware to give them a fine send-off, as James Lowe, Luke McGrath, and Ciaran Frawley, who is set to join Connacht, are among the names leaving Leinster.

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell will be hopeful in the fact that Caelan Doris appeared for the post-match interviews to discuss the victory despite only playing seven minutes before being withdrawn through what appeared to be an ankle injury, so it may not be a serious issue.
O’Brien was also withdrawn before halftime, with the pair named as part of Ireland’s squad for the Nations Championship this summer when they face Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
So, supporters will be waiting for news to see if these players will be available for these Tests in the Southern Hemisphere.
