Ireland secured the Triple Crown following their 43-21 victory over Scotland in their Six Nations Championship.
Andy Farrell will be proud of his side’s performance, as many fans and pundits had given the nod to Scotland ahead of this game to win their first Triple Crown since 1990.
However, impressive performances from the likes of Jamison Gibson Park and Stuart McCloskey saw the hosts emerge victorious, and, in the process, they secured a record-breaking ninth Triple Crown.
Now the Ireland team must wait until tonight to see if they will be crowned Six Nations champions, depending on the result from Le Crunch between England and France.

Fabian Galthie’s side will be aware they just need to beat England to secure back-to-back Six Nations championships.
However, France will be aware of the danger England possesses, particularly due to Steve Borthwick’s side currently being under incredible pressure due to their poor performance in the competition.

England have lost their last three fixtures in the Six Nations, with defeats to Scotland, Ireland and, infamously, Italy, so they will be desperate for a victory to silence the critics and to ease the talk around the future of Borthwick’s position as head coach.
Ireland fans around the world will be doing the unthinkable, putting on England tops and cheering them on against France to be able to see Caelan Doris lift the Six Nations title.
Doris appears to understand this and saw the funny side behind having to support England in Saturday night’s match between the English and the French.
Speaking to ITV following Ireland’s victory over Scotland, Doris said: “t's a rare day we do that, but we will be [supporting England] later on.”
Doris was not the only player from Farrell’s squad that said he would be supporting the English tonight, as Tommy O’Brien also confirmed to the ITV team that he would be cheering on England but joked he would stop himself short at singing Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.
