The question was: "Which of these multiple winners of the Wimbledon men's singles titles has NOT been victorious in consecutive years?"
The options available were, A - Pete Sampras, B - Roger Federer, C - Rafael Nadal and D - Novak Djokovic.
Reacting on social media, the Tennis Weekly Podcast questioned the difficulty of the question despite it being worth £125,000.
They wrote on social media: "This question was worth £125,000 on Who Want to be a Millionaire?"
However, some fans were left stumped by the question itself.
One fan said: "The tennis podcast finds the tennis question easy what a surprise."
Another tweeted: "I think this is pretty tough for people who don't follow tennis."
A third fan added: "Honestly the hardest WWTBAM question I’ve ever seen haha."

Someone else wrote: "I watch tennis a fair bit and I still don’t know the answer to that, the question is worth the money lol."
A fifth commented: "This is tough if you don’t properly know your tennis. Guessable if you know enough about Wimbledon that Nadal was the least successful of the four there."
Another fan said: "Tough question for non-tennis fans!"
The correct answer was Nadal, who won his two Wimbledon titles in 2008 and 2010, beating Federer before getting the better of Tomas Berdych two years later.
Currently, Federer holds the record for winning the most Wimbledon titles in the men's game, having lifted the trophy eight times, in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2017.
