Piers Morgan has made a revelation about President Donald Trump and his affiliation with the United Kingdom.
Broadcaster Morgan has been friends with Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States - for a long time - saving him in his phone as 'DJT' and regularly texting him.
Morgan has regularly interviewed Trump in his broadcasting career and was close to him before his political endeavours which brought two stints in the White House.

The 79-year-old was recently jetted across the pond for an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom, meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer as well as King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Trump, who owns two golf resorts in the UK, has a huge connection to the country because his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, was born in the Scottish Highlands in 1912 before emigrating to New York.

She then married his father Fred and had five children, including Donald.

"I know it's weird but I knew him a long time before he was ever a politician," he stated.
"And when I went to CNN I interviewed him 40 times and we became really good friends and we've stayed that way. It's just he happens to be most powerful and probably most divisive figure in the world.
"He's always been good to me, we've had the odd little falling out but he was funny. Listen, he loved the Royals - because people don't realise why it meant so much for him. His mother was Scottish, raised in Scotland until she was 18 - then she went to New York and married Fred, his dad.
"When the Queen was coronated in 1953, television had just come out and Donald was six. He sat there with his mum and watching a little television of this this amazing global event - the first one ever really on television.

"And that stuck with him. He was just enamoured with the Royal thing, the monarchy and everything. When he got the state visit with the Queen, that was incredible.
"And then this time around, he's the first American president to ever get two of them and this time he had a different monarch - also extraordinarily unusual."
He added: "No one's ever had a state visit from any country with two different monarchs in the UK so it meant a lot to him.
"And I say this to people about Trump, yes he's got a massive ego, yes he's a bit of a narcissist. But if someone is like that and they happen to be in a position or not help your country, then you have to play the game. It's like having an annoying, irritating player who happens to be brilliant."

Trump was previously linked with buying a football team on these shores - expressing interest in acquiring Scottish side Rangers amid their financial problems in 2010.
According to a Trump source, he and his representatives "looked seriously" but walked away as it "did not make sense".
