Kali Muscle, a millionaire bodybuilder has warned fans about the dangers of weightlifting after a near-death experience.

The 48-year-old suffered a heart attack back in 2021 due to synthetic steroid use.

He was rushed to the hospital and doctors discovered that his left artery was blocked. As a result, Muscle underwent life-saving surgery straight away.

At the time, he said: “Being a tough a**, you ignore people saying that like man I ain’t got no heart problems or nothing like that.

“I’ve always been concerned so I don’t want to say it’s a wake-up call.”

Muscle added: “Make sure you guys take care of your health. That’s what I’ve been talking to you about anyway.”

Recently, Muscle has been speaking about the dangers of using the drug, and revealed that he is now scared of lifting weights.

When asked what he would tell his younger self, he said: “I would tell myself, don’t do bodybuilding shows and don’t take all that synthetic, made in a lab.

“For years, man, I had a problem with edema in my feet and ankles, and you know, I was younger. I didn’t think much of it or whatever.

“People used to tell me that’s a sign of heart failure, and of course being a tough a**, you ignore people saying that, like man, I ain’t got no heart problems or nothing like that.”

He also added: “I am scared of weights now. I was just thinking just a second ago, man, I used to go like five wheels on it, I look back like, why?”

Muscle is now using his platform to urge people to eat cleaner and live a healthier lifestyle, he has now also stopped weightlifting due to the pressure they put on his body.

The bodybuilder turned influencer has racked up around 2.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, in which he urges his fans to take care of their own health.

Muscle first started his bodybuilding journey after being arrested for robbery back in his sophomore year at college.

He was sentenced to 11 years in prison by a judge after being found guilty.

Now, he continues to send inspirational messages and advice across his social media platforms.
