The crazy amount of money darts sensation Luke Littler has earned this month, it's his biggest payday ever

The 16-year-old is already into the last 16.

16-year-old darts sensation Luke Littler is continuing to take the 2024 PDC World Darts Championships by storm.

Having successfully seen off Matt Campbell by four legs to one in front of a raucous Alexandra Palace crowd, Littler is now safely into the last 16 of the competition.

Still ranked 164th in the world at present, the Warrington-born talent has seen his earnings skyrocket in just a few short weeks already.

Having earned just £2,500 before the festive tournament got under way, Littler has so far beaten Christian Kist, Andrew Gilding and Campbell.

His earnings thanks to his last performance have soared to a whopping £37,500, some 20 times his original cash prize earnings beforehand.

Fans have been left in awe of the teenager, with his signature post-match interview often featuring questions about how he is going to celebrate with a kebab.

Littler is now the youngest-ever recorded player to reach the last 16 of the World Championship and will face either Jim Williams or former winner Raymond van Barneveld.

With confidence clearly brimming, the youngster also posted an impressive 164 checkout on his way to victory against Campbell, sending the Ally Pally crowd into delirium once more.

Speaking to Sky Sports in the aftermath of his recent win, Littler said all the focus is simply on performing to the best of his abilities.

"I just let my darts do the talking," began the 16-year-old talent.

"As soon as I won that first game against Christian Kist [last week], I just settled. When I went 2-0 up, I tried to calm myself down and I kept my composure and got over the line."

"I have been watching my highlights every day," he added.

"Barney [Van Barneveld] has said nice words about me and Jimmy has beaten Peter Wright, so they are both in form, but I'll take whoever."
