Luke Littler has put pen to paper on the biggest deal in darts history, just a week after winning the World Darts Championship.

The 18-year-old, who has earned more than £3 million in prize money over the course of his short career, is consistently breaking records in the sport after bursting onto the professional scene in 2023.

Following his first World Darts Championship win in 2025, Littler won five of the seven ranked major titles last year - the UK Open, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam and the Players Championship.

It has been a remarkable 12 months for "The Nuke" and on Friday morning, there was more to celebrate for the Warrington-born thrower and his team.

It has been confirmed that Littler has agreed a record-breaking ten-year partnership with sponsors Target Darts, who announced the news on their official social media accounts.

They wrote: "It’s official: we’ve signed the biggest deal in darts history with Luke Littler. Together with the back-to-back World Champ and World Number 1, we’re redefining what’s possible in darts, and we are only just getting started."

Littler has signed a multi-million-pound contract with Target, according to The Sun, who claim the deal will be based on potential earnings and bonuses, as well as a percentage of sales of products and equipment.

In fact, when the above is taken into consideration, the lucrative deal is going to be worth £20 million over 10 years, as per The Press Association.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming Bahrain Darts Masters, which takes place on January 15-16, Littler waxed lyrically about his partnership with the sponsor.

“Target has believed in me from day one," he said.

“I’m delighted that there are many more years to come. From my playing career to my product range, we’ve built everything together and I’m really excited to commit to our partnership long-term and see where we can take this next.”

To put Littler's latest move into perspective, 16-time world champion Phil Taylor penned his longest contract in February 2014, which was said to be a lucrative five-year deal with Target.

That contract was worth £3 million, according to The Mirror. “It is a calculated risk, but everything in life is a gamble," Taylor said after switching from long-time sponsors Unicorn to Target. "This is make-or-break for me. If I don’t do it right, I might as well pack it in."

Luke Littler spends £1 million World Championship prize money in a week

Following his 7-1 win over Gian van Veen at the World Championship this month, Littler reportedly purchased a five-bedroom property on the outskirts of his hometown of Warrington, Cheshire.

A report from the Mail claims that the darts number one has bought the house for his parents, with the property being described as a "stunning extended family home" with a hot tub, solar panels, and a huge open-plan kitchen.

A source explained: “Luke's a young man. He's bought this place and is living there with his mum and dad but in time he'll spread his wings and the hope is they will stay there.

"It's not a bad Christmas present for them but it's only what they deserve having done everything to help him get where he is today.”

Although it is unclear exactly what Littler paid for the property, it was on the market for close to £1 million last year, having changed hands in January 2021 for £710,000.
