Angry Ginge aimed a savage dig at London at the Brit Awards in a rant that was censored during the live ITV broadcast.

The 2026 Brit Awards were held at the Co-op Live in Manchester on Saturday.

It headed north for the first time in its nearly 50-year history and took place in Manchester for the very first time.

The biggest names in the world of music flocked to the event, including Sam Fender, Noel Gallagher and Olivia Dean, who took home four awards.

Several celebrities were also in attendance, including I'm A Celebrity winner Angry Ginge, who joined reigning darts world champion Luke Littler on stage to present an award.

But as he started talking, the audio cut out, creating an awkward on-air moment.

Littler looked on and sheepishly said: "Okay," before moving things on.

Angry Ginge had a smirk on his face as though he wasn't meant to say what he did.

What did Angry Ginge say at the Brit Awards?

The reason behind Angry Ginge's mic cutting out was because he swore on stage.

The 24-year-old took a swipe at London after welcoming fans at the Co-op Live in Manchester.

Angry Ginge began: "Hello Manchester!"

He added: "It is an absolute privilege to see the Brits in Manchester because it shows people are realising London is a sh*thole."

Huge cheers followed his passionate speech, with Littler then presenting the award.

Angry Ginge, who hails from Salford, welcomed the decision to swap London for Manchester for this year's Brit Awards.

"I'm glad that they have awoken their eyes to how good Manchester is," he told the BBC. "Hopefully, Manchester doesn't become like London, but hopefully there's more events like this in Manchester. It's the place to be."
