Rap legend Snoop Dogg once managed to get a cheeky joint in before taking to the stage for Super Bowl LVI's halftime show in 2022. Check out the video from Rafa El Alcalde below.

Snoop took to the stage with Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and other legends to deliver an incredible performance during the NFL's showpiece game.

It's well known the 52-year-old is a marijuana smoker and many joked he would light up during the performance.

He didn't do that, but he did enjoy a few puffs right before dropping one of the Super Bowl's most iconic halftime shows.

Fans loved the moment of Snoop smoking a joint.

One commented: "Snoop has a free pass to smoke weed anywhere in the world. Literally anywhere."

Another put: "Snoop is unbeatable lol."

A third said: "That man was buzzing in his performance."

While someone else tweeted: "Exactly the same way I warm up for work, fair play."

But are his days of smoking over? Well, he's taken to social media to post a cryptic message.

"I'm giving up smoke," he wrote on a post on Instagram.

Longtime friends Dre and Snoop opened the proceedings with a rendition of 'The Next Episode' before paying tribute to Tupac Shakur with 'California Love' which sent SoFi Stadium wild.

50 Cent made a surprise appearance to perform 'In Da Club' before Mary J. Blige belted out 'Family Affair'.

Next up was California native Lamar who sent the crowd wild with 'Alright'.

Eminem then stepped up and it couldn't be anything else but 'Lose Yourself', could it?

Imagine being a Los Angeles Rams or Cincinnati Bengals player and hearing that. You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow... goosebumps.

Eminem then took a knee in a powerful statement.

The finale to the show was 'Still D.R.E' with everyone joining in.

On the pitch it was the Rams who ended their 22 year wait for the Vince Lombardi Trophy after running out 23-20 winners.

36-year-old Sean McVay made history by becoming the youngest coach to win a Super Bowl ring.
