Tom Brady was contacted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in America for swearing during a live NFL broadcast.
More than three years after his retirement, Brady undoubtedly remains one of the biggest name not just in the NFL, but in American sports in general.
It therefore came as no surprise that he started working as a pundit during the NFL season, but things this season haven't gotten off to a great start after he was made to apologise for a comment made live on air.

A year later, the NFL legend took over as Fox's lead NFL analyst having signed a massive 10-year, $375million deal with Fox in May 2022, while he was stilll an active quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Unsurprisingly, the deal made Brady the highest-paid broadcaster in sports broadcasting history.
But that doesn't mean he's not made a few mistakes while on air, as shown during the recent broadcast of the Week 2 coverage of the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders clash.
While commentating the Cowboys' 37-20 win, Brady swore when he saw Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels dislocate his arm mid-match.
"Oh s***," Brady shouted after seeing the injury.
Realising his mistake, he quickly apologised, adding: "Excuse me."
Earlier in the match Brady, clearly excited, also swore after watching Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott make an impressive 35-yard throw.
"Absolute p*** missile up the sideline," Brady said.
Although the comments were appreciated by fans, Brady has since revealed that his swearing has landed him in hot water with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an independent of the US government that regulates interstate and international communications.
In an Instagram post thanking his team, Brady admitted that he'd received a call from the FCC about the comments.
He wrote: "There’s nothing I love more than going to work with my man, and the best in the business, Kevin Burkhardt and the entire NFL on Fox crew.
"I’m blessed to work with the best team in sports...We love sharing our insight with you, the fans who support the @nfl with more passion than I can ever remember."
He added: "More miss pissles and a few turkey provolones no doubt coming up this year... yes, I meant miss pissles, I got a call from the FCC."

Brady, clearly unhappy with himself, also released a video message on Fox's social media accounts apologising for swearing during the broadcast and admitting he was 'embarrassed' by his actions.
"I'm actually kind of embarrassed," Brady confessed.
"There's a lot of grandmas at home that probably aren't very happy with my mouth on Fox. I'm going to fix that. Sorry, I apologize."
