Thomas Tuchel Turns Down Approach From Premier League Club

The former Borussia Dortmund boss is in big demand

Thomas Tuchel has been linked with almost every major managerial vacancy going after his departure from Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season, and even a few positions where a manager is still in place.

Most recently the German coach has seen his name attached to the now vacant manager's job at Bayern Munich, after Carlo Ancelotti was relieved of his duties at the Allianz Arena, yesterday.

According to the Mirror, Tuchel has already been busy rejecting advances from one Premier League club.

Currently sitting in the Premier League relegation zone, having lost four of their opening six games, West Ham United could soon be handing Slaven Bilic his P45, with the Croatian on thin ice after a disappointing second season in East London and an even more disappointing start to the current campaign.

The Mirror are reporting that the Hammers' owners David Sullivan and David Gold sounded out Tuchel about potentially taking over from Bilic at the London Stadium, only to be knocked back by the German coach.

The 44-year-old led Dortmund to the DFB Pokal, last season before leaving the Bundesliga giants three days later.

Why Tuchel decided against a move to the London Stadium remains to be seen, although with the Bayern job now available, it could be hard to convince the former Dortmund boss to look anywhere else, with his name being heavily linked to the vacant position at the Allianz Arena.
