The representatives of Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel have offered him to another Champions League club, according to a new report.

The former Chelsea boss has guided Bayern to the last 16 of the Champions League this term, but they are currently five points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga.

Bayern's 3-0 loss to Xabi Alonso's side was their third league defeat of the season, and leaves them scrambling to win the league title for the 12th consecutive year.

As a result, pressure has grown on Tuchel, whose side only won the title last season after Borussia Dortmund failed to win their match on the final day of the campaign.

After the defeat, Tuchel told reporters: "We had all week to prepare. We wanted to defend very high up the pitch, and that's what we did.

"I think we managed that for a long time, but we also made incredibly bad decisions, especially after winning the ball. Then we lost our confidence."

And according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the German coach has been eyeing up potential new opportunities for if he decides to leave Bayern.

Journalist Fernando Polo claims that Tuchel's entourage has offered his services to Barcelona, who will be looking for a new manager next season following the departure of Xavi.

Xavi has already announced that he will leave Barca at the end of the campaign following a disappointing season which sees them sit 10 points behind leaders Real Madrid in the La Liga table.

But he could end his time on a high by winning the Champions League - with Barca and Bayern potentially meeting further down the line in this season's competition.

Mundo Deportivo add that, given Tuchel's Champions League win with Chelsea in 2021, there is a belief that the 50-year-old would have a strong chance of getting the job if he was to speak with Barcelona.
