Thomas Tuchel is said to have turned down a Premier League return just days after announcing his upcoming exit at Bayern Munich.

Tuchel is set to leave Germany at the end of the season after falling behind Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen in the table.

Having eyed up potentials jobs in England and Spain, the former Chelsea boss has reportedly already rejected advances from one Premier League side.

According to The Sun, Tuchel has snubbed West Ham's offer to take on a role that would see him replace current boss David Moyes.

Moyes is out of contract at the end of the season and is facing ongoing scrutiny from sections of the fan base about his position.

Despite having led the Hammers to European glory in the UEFA Conference League last year, the former Man Utd boss has failed to win any of his last eight games at the helm.

Sources close to Tuchel indicate he would only return to England should a job including one of the 'top-four' become available.

Having also attracted interest from Spain, namely Barcelona, the 50-year-old hasn't ruled out the possibility of managing in La Liga for the first time.

Poised the question earlier this year, the German admitted he would like to test himself given the calibre of players Spain's top-flight currently boasts.

“Moving abroad would appeal to me again," began the current Bayern boss.

"Spain has an extraordinary league. From my perspective, and based on my experience working with Spaniards, they are characterised by a tremendous amount of self-confidence.

"When you speak with Spanish players, I quickly get the sense that you are engaging with the person.”

Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp and Xabi Alonso are also names who have been identified for the upcoming vacant position at the Nou Camp, with Xavi set to leave his post in the summer months.
