Steph Curry faces an awkward reunion with an NBA star amid stunning trade rumours involving Jonathan Kuminga.
The Golden State Warriors have been fairly inactive this offseason following their 4-1 defeat to Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semi-finals last season.
Kuminga, however, has been linked with a move away from the Warriors, having joined the California-based franchise in the 2021 NBA Draft.
His lack of prominence with the Warriors has led to him considering leaving the team despite not having his best campaign.

The Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings have emerged as potential suitors for the 22-year-old.
The Kings dream of landing Kuminga not to mention Russell Westbrook ahead of the new season.
And there appears to be an opening for the Warriors to meet Kuminga's demands while addressing their own needs as well.

Kings shooting guard Keon Ellis seems to be an ideal fit for the Warriors and if the franchise are as interested in Kuminga as shown, it could pave the way for a blockbuster trade.
If Kuminga and Ellis traded spots, then it would see the latter link up with NBA icon Curry, who has been with the Warriors since he was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
And that could lead to an awkward reunion given how Ellis celebrated when the Kings beat Curry's Warriors in 2024.
Ellis shone in his side's 118-94 NBA Play-In Tournament win over the Warriors and trolled the four-time NBA champion by doing his trademark 'night, night' celebration after the result.

Speaking after his decision to troll Curry, he explained: "I only did it because I love Steph."
Ellis, 25, added: "The one thing I love about him is he's a troller. I love it... so it was like a little troll.
"People on the staff where like 'you sure you want us to post it?'

"I'm like 'I don't care, it don't matter to me if he comes out and cooks me, sh*t he's Steph Curry'."
