A guest broke down in tears during a recording of the Joe Rogan Experience in an emotional moment.
American rapper and singer Jelly Roll was the latest guest on the podcast, joining for an episode which was released on Wednesday, December 10.

He was arrested for the first time at just 14 and in his 2023 documentary Jelly Roll: Save Me, he revealed he had been to jail around 40 times for various offences.
While serving time behind bars, he began writing songs, starting with rap before transitioning to country music.
During his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, the pair watched a clip of Jelly Roll performing at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Opry is a world-famous venue for country music and has now been running for a century.
As they watched Jelly Roll's performance at the prestigious venue, Rogan asked him what it felt like to see himself become so popular.
Jelly Roll replied: "I love you man, you tricked me again."
Rogan then played another video, this time from country music star Craig Morgan.
"Congratulations to all the great things happening in your career," Morgan said.
"And thank you for the positive difference you're making in the lives of so many people who need the help.
"You're doing great work buddy and I'll never forget meeting you on the Grand Ole Opry and how much it meant to me to hear you say, 'My music helped you get threw some real tough times.'
"That's one thing country music does really well.
"And who would have dreamed back then that I would be back at the Opry house today to say...
"Jelly Roll you're officially invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry."
At that moment, Jelly Roll, who was watching the clip with Rogan, threw his headphones aside and buried his face in his hands.
As he broke down in tears, Rogan explained that Morgan wanted the Grand Ole Opry invitation to be delivered on the show.
Once the emotions settled, Jelly Roll reflected on the first time he saw Morgan perform at the Opry shortly after being released from prison.
He described Morgan as someone who had been transformative for him, both through his music and mentorship.
After the episode aired, Jelly Roll shared the clip on Instagram, writing: "I’m honored beyond words and I can’t stop pinching myself."
He once again took the opportunity to thank both Morgan and Rogan.
