Daniel Cormier has revealed the behind-the-scenes truth of a viral clip showing a UFC staff member making a 'disrespectful' comment to the former champion.
As one of just a short list of four UFC fighters to simultaneously hold championship titles in two weight divisions, Cormier is a legend of MMA.
The American wrestler joins Henry Cejudo, Amanda Nunes and Conor McGregor as a double champion, with several other fighters also winning championship belts in two weight classes, although not simultaneously.
Despite this, a young staff member working for the UFC recently found herself on the receiving end of Cormier's temper after she asked him 'disrespectful' question for a clip posted on the organisation's social media.
And now, the former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion has addressed the situation, revealing what really happened once the cameras were switched off.

During his career, Cormier, who stands at 5ft 9inches tall, weighed in around 205lbs and 265lbs (93kg - 120kg) but didn't exactly look like current UFC champions like Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira.
But this doesn't mean he wasn't an elite athlete, as the American boasted a highly impressive professional record of 22 wins, 3 losses and one no contest in one of his infamous bouts with Jon Jones.
For this reason, he was clearly angry when a young staff member working for the UFC asked him if he ever wishes he was 'athletic' during the prime of his career for a social media clip.
Cormier kept his cool in the clip, but was clearly annoyed by the question, labelling it as disrespectful before suggesting she looked at his impressive career.
But now, he's revealed that his true reaction was much louder, as he addressed the situation during an episode of the Good Guy / Bad Guy podcast with co-host Chael Sonnen.
"I was like, what is wrong with you? What is wrong with these children Chael, why do they do that? She works for the UFC, she's a younger girl that works for social media, I was like 'you're so disrespectful'.
"What you didn't see in the video was how bad I cuss'd everybody out in that room, I was like 'you just going to disrespect me and all my accomplishments?'
Sonnen responded by recalling a story of when a young staff member refused him entry into the UFC's performance institute as he didn't bring identification with him.
In order to get in, Sonnen had to return home and collect his driving license, despite the fact that his face is on the wall inside of the building.
