Dana White has revealed he has taken a step back and "completely removed" himself from one part of his UFC duties.
White is the UFC president and has been credited with playing an integral role in the incredible growth of the world's leading MMA promotion.
He is still the face of the UFC brand in many ways, coming into the Octagon to present new champions with the belt and holding post-event press conferences.
However, the 56-year-old, who also owns the controversial Power Slap fighting league, has dropped a bombshell by confirming he has walked away from one of his long-standing responsibilities.

In an appearance on SPEED with Harvick and Buxton, White admitted that he no longer gets involved in negotiations over fighter contract as he does not deem it to be "fun".
"I've completely removed myself from the negotiating part of fighter contracts,” White stated.
“I got to a point where, ‘This isn’t fun anymore, man.’ I’m lucky that I’m at a point in my life and in my career where I can just deal with the fun stuff that I like to do."
White appears to let other executives take the lead on contract negotiations with those on the roster and he also admitted under oath that he doesn't really have any involvement in UFC's matchmaking and hasn't since Hunter Campbell came in as UFC chief business officer.
At Nevada Federal District Court relating to two antitrust lawsuits against the UFC, White said Campbell, Mick Maynard and Sean Shelby have greater duties and have since around 2017.
At the hearing, White told Judge Richard Boulware, "You won't find one manager on this planet who will tell you I've negotiated a deal in I don't know how long".
Campbell backed up the admission from White in his testimony and said that White allows his team to handle matchmaking while focusing on other areas such as growth and production.
