Conor McGregor says Elon Musk needs to bring back a popular function on X and UFC fans want it to happen.
McGregor has been an avid social media user during his UFC career, having taken to multiple platforms to aim digs or call out his next opponents.
He also got used to posting voice notes on X, which has the ability to record and share audio messages within tweets.
The function is no longer available on X to the frustration of McGregor, who wants to see the return of voice notes on the social media platform.

The 37-year-old publicly messaged X boss Musk, asking him to bring back voice notes.
On X, the former UFC double champion wrote: "Bring back voice notes, @elonmusk!"
UFC fans across the world are all in agreement with McGregor and want X to re-introduce voice notes.
One X user wrote: "Yes please, I miss Conor’s funny voice notes."

If Musk obliged and brought back voice notes on X, then you can bet on the Irishman running rampant on social media.
When is Conor McGregor returning to the UFC?
McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since his crushing TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 back in July 2021.
He was scheduled to return to action last summer when he was matched against Chandler.

However, McGregor was forced to withdraw after suffering a toe injury in camp.
But the 'Notorious' is eyeing a spot on the proposed UFC White House event, which is set to take place next year.
And it appears his UFC comeback is in motion, having returned to the testing pool.

"They’re testing me,” he told The Schmo. "I’m in the pool. I thought that’s what the pools were for, jumping in and out, but I’m back in the pool. So get ready and stay ready because damage will be done. Oval office. White House card."
McGregor, who has won the UFC featherweight and UFC lightweight titles during his decorated MMA career, hasn't won a fight since his victory over Donald Cerrone back in January 2020.
